This Hudson Valley Estate is featured prominently at the crest of a mountain, with expansive views of the Hudson River. Surrounded by rolling forest, fields and farmland, it is part of an open-space network with significant historic, cultural and ecological value. The site had experienced a long history after being used as a farm, gentleman’s club, nursing home and camp. Our challenge was to transform the multiple sites into one open parcel, with new driveways and roads.
