The Chinese moon gate archetype is reinvented as a horticultural

element, both architectural and natural. Traditionally used as a Chinese
garden entry way, here it becomes both a green element and a work of
sculptural art. The rounded silhouettes are seen through the moon gate
and repeated – first in the orbital David Harber Sculpture beyond, then
into the less obvious design elements throughout the space. Each new
piece adds a dynamic layer – providing rhythm, movement and focal points
to subtly guide one through the garden and create a natural journey
throughout the verdant space.
